Founding Principal
John is the Founding Principal of Fore Design and Flex Planning, having established the business in 1990. Over that time, he has curated a dynamic practice with a highly skilled team of architects, designers, town planners and construction professionals, delivering a diverse range of projects across industries and scales.
Backed by over 45 years’ experience in the construction industry, spanning design, project administration and delivery, John is known for his ability to navigate complex projects and identify practical solutions where others can’t.
John is a former board member of Regional Development Australia – Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu & Kangaroo Island, a former Chairperson of the Hahndorf Business and Tourism Association, and a former board member of St Pauls Lutheran Homes, contributing to driving growth and development in regional South Australia. He currently serves as Chairperson of the Wolf Blass Gallery and Museum and the Adelaide Hills Wine Bar, and is a Trustee of the Wolf Blass Foundation.
With a strong focus on client outcomes, John is committed to championing thoughtful development across South Australia, delivering exciting built environments that support surrounding industry sectors.
