Our clients’ aim was to create a state-of-the-art specialist women’s healthcare centre. The proposal involved a change in use, alterations and additions to an existing residential property to create space for specialists including obstetrics and gynaecology, physiotherapy, perinatal psychology, medicinal hypnotherapy and dietetics. In addition there is space for group classes centred around pregnancy and postpartum. This carbon neutral practice is the first of its kind in the Adelaide Hills.
Flex was able to navigate a complex approvals process. Some of the considerations addressed were of a non-complying development, access & traffic generation along an arterial road and the interface between land uses.
